Stampers Club aka Stampers Delight

Hello my Friends and Happy Mother’s Day!

You are probably wondering about my title of this post. Well, yesterday at my stampers club one of my members says she calls are club Stampers Delight. Well after everyone left this name stuck with me so I will for now on call our club Stampers Delight. Cute huh?

OK As promised in my last post here are the cards we made. Don't you just love the pinwheels.

 The used is with this card is the retiring Beyond the Garden DSP (122342) If you look closely you will also see a sneak peak of an item that will be in the new catalog.

 I also wanted to share with you another flower I made. This one is a book mark made from Melon Mumbo card stock (115320).

Tomorrow (Saturday) My stampers club will be meeting. We meet once a month at my home and make 2 items. Such a great way to unwind and fellow ship with others for just a few hours a month. I will be starting a new stampers club in July. Contact me if you would like to join my group and I will let you know what all is involved. 

Now here is one of the two things that they will be making. The other thing that they will be making is a pinwheel card. I will share that with you on another post.

Emboss Resist

I belong to  Patty Bennett  Luv 2 Stamp Group and she has started a monthly technique challenge for the Group. This month the technique is Emboss Resist. This is a fun and easy technique. I thought I would share my card with you along with a sneak peak from the up coming catalog available June 1. 

I stamped the "new" stamp set in versamark, add clear embossing power, heat and color with a sponge (the "new incolors"), wipe off excess ink with a paper towel. Super Simple!

I also used some new DSP.. can you say lovely!!

Hundreds of stamps and accessories from the 2011-2012 catalogs are retiring, and this is your chance to get them before they're gone. Many products are only available while supplies last, so be sure to get your orders in early!

As you view the retiring stamps list, you may notice it's longer than in years past. During this transition to the new annual catalog, there are a higher number of stamps being refreshed and replaced than usual. While many stamps are going away, most are being replaced so that the breadth of our stamp lines is every bit as broad as ever!

PLEASE NOTE:  You will see all of the ink pads on the list.. we will no longer be carrying the craft ink pads (only in black and white) and the classic pads will be replaced with a new "firm foam pad" for a better stamping experience.  More news to come on these exciting new pads!
