Bird House using the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate

I got this idea from Jackie Topa on other ways to use the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate, so that you are not always making envelopes. (Simple Scored 122334 $29.95, Diagonal Plate 125586 $11.95)
The base of this card is 11” x 3 3/4” and the roof is 3” square cut on the diagonal. I made my roof a little bigger so that I could use the scallop trim border punch (118402) and the scallop trim corner punch (118870). I also used the Kindness Matters (w122900,c122902) stamp set along with rhinestones (119246).
I got the wood look by using the Woodgrain Background stamp (117100) and Strips Textured Impression  embossing folder (123128). Don’t you think it looks like actual wood?
The bird was punched out from the Bird punch (117191). It may sound like a lot but it only took me about 10 mins to make this card.
Here is a close up of the top! Gotta love that bling!
